This one is certainly a crowd pleaser! Hints of dried fruit and caramelized sugars make for an exceedingly smooth cup. Suitable for all brew methods. Makes a deliciously complex lighter espresso. (We've been treating ourselves to mid-morning affagatos).

 

The washed process removes all the pulp and mucilage of the cherry after harvest and stops any natural fermentation. This allows for a very clean-tasting cup of coffee, allowing the region's character to really shine through! We've chosen a full city (medium) roast for this one for optimal balance.

  • Guatemala coffee is smooth and lower on the tart scale. This provides great body for blends and solid bases for adding whatever flair you like in your cup.

    Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) specifies the altitude at which the coffee was grown. A coffee must be grown at 1,200 meters above sea level or higher to be considered SHB. The higher altitude and lower temperatures mean that the coffee fruit matures more slowly, creating a denser bean. 

    EP stands for European Preparation. EP beans are Screen 15+ with a low defect tolerance. 

    This is a full city (medium) roast, that has winy acidity and a lingering finish. Great as a French Press!
