Coffee needs time to settle and degas after roasting. It's drinkable after 3 days and really hits its stride after 10 days. (Full disclosure: This is not a frequently asked question, but it's good to know).

When in a sealed container, roasted coffee has a pretty long shelf life. In general we don't sell coffee that's more than 4 months old, but most coffee is still delicious at 6 months and beyond. The coffee you see at the grocery store that doesn't include the roast date is usually older than that.

The short answer is yes! There are no alternate shipping options at checkout, so you'll have to include a note that tells us which service you would like to use. We'll be happy to ship it using that service and invoice you for the extra cost.
